On 9th March, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted multiple raids on the premises of Subhash Prasad Yadav, a close aide of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, in connection with an alleged sand mining scam. The operations spanned several locations in Patna, including Danapur, and were part of an investigation into money laundering activities purportedly linked to Broadsons Private Limited, a company owned by Subhash Yadav. Following the raids, Subhash Yadav was arrested and subsequently produced before a court, which ordered his judicial custody. Additional searches related to the scam were also conducted in Tamil Nadu.
