Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have injected nearly Rs 14,000 crore into the Indian equities market so far in May 2025, according to depository data. Specifically, FPIs invested Rs 13,835 crore in equities while withdrawing Rs 7,743 crore from the debt markets during the same period. On May 26, 2025, FPIs recorded a net purchase of Rs 135.98 crore in equities, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) showed a stronger net buying trend with Rs 1,745.72 crore invested in equities on a provisional basis.
