A hacker known as xenZen has reportedly used Telegram chatbots to leak sensitive data from India's largest health insurer, Star Health. The breach has affected over 31 million customers, with 7.24 terabytes of data being compromised. The leaked information includes names, addresses, and health details, which were accessible via Telegram. Despite the data leak, Star Health has stated that there is no widespread compromise and that sensitive data remains secure. Reuters was able to download sensitive data, including policy and claims documents, using the chatbots. This incident comes weeks after Telegram's founder was accused of allowing the messenger app to facilitate crime.
