
India's Enforcement Directorate (ED) has intensified its crackdown on cryptocurrency-related frauds, seizing assets and collaborating with both domestic and international bodies, including authorities in the United States. The ED's recent operations include a major drug trafficking bust involving INR 3,000 crore ($360 million) and a separate case targeting online gaming scams. In the latter, the ED seized approximately INR 90 crore ($10.5 million) from 70 accounts across platforms like Binance, ZebPay, and WazirX, linked to the fraudulent E-Nugget app. This collaborative effort marks a significant step in India's fight against cybercrime and money laundering.
