India's foreign exchange reserves surged by $4 billion to reach a record high of $670.86 billion for the week ended July 19, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This marks the third consecutive week of increases, with the reserves having risen by $14.9 billion over the previous two weeks. The foreign currency assets, a major component of the reserves, increased by $2.578 billion to $588.048 billion.
