India's foreign exchange reserves increased by $8.31 billion to reach $686.15 billion as of April 18, marking a six-month high. This data was reported by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Concurrently, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and domestic institutional investors (DIIs) continued their net buying trend in Indian equities. On April 25, FIIs net purchased approximately ₹2,952.33 crore, while DIIs net bought around ₹3,539.85 crore in equities. Overall, FIIs have invested ₹17,060 crore into Indian equities during the late April rally, reflecting sustained foreign investment interest in the Indian capital markets.
