The Ministry of Corporate Affairs in India is set to launch an internship scheme in mid-October, with artificial intelligence (AI) assisting in the first round of candidate shortlisting. A neutral panel of government and industry experts will then select the final pool for companies to choose from. Additionally, the Ministry of Electronics and IT has invited nominations from students and PhD scholars for the IndiaAI fellowship, with submissions due by September 30, 2024. The fellowship aims to support innovation in AI. Furthermore, Startup India, DPIIT, and AccelAtoms are offering up to $1 million in funding and access to top mentors for startups building for Bharat, with applications open until November 17, 2024.
