The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) and the Union Home Ministry’s cybercrime unit have issued warnings to the public about a rise in fake e-notices claiming to be from government offices. These fake emails are designed to scam recipients by posing as official communications. The I4C has advised people to scrutinize these emails carefully to avoid falling victim to fraud. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has also issued guidelines to handle suspicious mails.
