
Indian space tech startups have experienced a significant boost in funding, securing a record-breaking $126 million in 2023, which marks a 7% increase from 2022, according to Tracxn. This surge is largely attributed to a government push to support the sector. Among the notable recipients, Skyroot Aerospace received the highest funding at $99.8 million, followed by Pixxel Space with $71.7 million, and Agnikul Cosmos with $61.5 million. India now hosts more than 100 space technology startups, most of which have been established in the past five years. The cash raised has gone up 235%.
