
Infosys and Wipro, two major players in India's IT sector, have announced significant hiring plans for the financial year 2025. Infosys aims to recruit between 15,000 to 20,000 fresh graduates, resuming its campus recruitment efforts after a period of headcount decline. Meanwhile, Wipro plans to add 10,000 to 12,000 employees, marking a reversal in its hiring strategy after experiencing a headcount drop for six consecutive quarters. In addition, other IT firms are also ramping up their recruitment efforts, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) targeting 40,000 new hires and HCL Tech planning to bring on 10,000 employees. These moves come amidst ongoing macroeconomic challenges faced by the sector.
