InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, reported a 20.2% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to ₹2,176 crore for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, missing analysts' expectations. The profit drop was attributed to a brief shutdown of some airports due to a border conflict and a decrease in travel demand following an Air India plane crash. Despite the profit decline, revenue increased by 4.7% to ₹20,496 crore. EBITDA rose slightly by 1.3% to ₹5,227 crore, while EBITDAR fell 1.2% to ₹5,739 crore. The operating margin decreased to 25.5% from the previous year, and the EBITDAR margin declined from 29.7% to 27.9%. Other companies reporting Q1FY26 results include Eicher Motors, which posted a 9.4% rise in adjusted PAT to ₹1,205 crore on a 14.8% revenue increase to ₹5,042 crore. Ratnamani Metals saw a 19.8% increase in net profit to ₹127 crore despite a 2.7% revenue decline. Godrej Properties reported a 15.4% rise in net profit to ₹600 crore but a 41% drop in revenue and an EBITDA loss. Kirloskar Bros experienced a slight 0.3% net profit decrease to ₹70.5 crore and a 5% revenue decline. UPL Ltd showed a 2% revenue growth to ₹9,216 crore, a 14% EBITDA increase to ₹1,303 crore, and a reduction in net debt by ₹6,129 crore to ₹21,371 crore. Graphite India reported a 43.6% net profit decline to ₹133 crore and a 61.2% EBITDA drop. Delhivery's net profit rose 67% to ₹91 crore, with a 6% revenue increase. Honeywell Automation posted an 8.7% net profit increase to ₹124.6 crore but an 8.4% EBITDA decrease. ITC Ltd reported standalone revenue growth of 20.6% year-on-year to ₹19,750 crore and EBITDA growth of 2.9%, though PAT declined.
