The Karnataka government has announced a comprehensive cybersecurity policy aimed at addressing the increasing incidence of cybercrimes in the state. The policy will focus on key areas including awareness and education, skill building, promotion of industry and startups, and fostering partnerships. In conjunction with this initiative, the government has allocated Rs 104 crore to enhance cybersecurity measures. Additionally, a report indicates that Karnataka's bioeconomy is projected to reach a valuation of $100 billion by 2030, underscoring the state's commitment to technological advancement and economic growth.
