In light of October being Cybersecurity Awareness Month, various entities are emphasizing the importance of online safety. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has joined the campaign to spread awareness about online scams, sharing basic tips and tricks to stay safe online. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) in India have also highlighted the rise of AI-driven scams, such as FraudGPT, which cybercriminals use to craft phishing messages and fake documents. Cybersecurity experts recommend using multifactor authentication, double-checking URLs, and staying vigilant against romance and job scams to protect personal data. The campaign is supported by @Cyberdost and the SatarkNagrik initiative.
