He also encouraged the tech leaders to continue making and designing in India, with a focus on AI benefiting the Indian populace. Modi announced a $12 billion research fund to promote high-end research and introduced the BioE3 policy to boost bio-manufacturing. The roundtable was hosted by the MIT School of Engineering and attended by other key CEOs from companies like IBM, Accenture, and Eli Lilly.
