Pritesh Lakhani, Co-Founder and CEO of Pneucons, shared insights on the impact of the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme during a recent event in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He emphasized the significance of funding for startups, stating, "It has been a great help. As a startup, funding is always required when you begin. With this funding, we were able to survive for a year and reach our customers." Lakhani highlighted that Pneucons, which operates as a B2B marketplace for engineering industries across India, registered for the scheme two years ago. He encouraged other entrepreneurs to utilize the Startup India platform, noting the various opportunities available. Pneucons, which has been operational for nearly three years, has expanded its services to 40 countries. The discussions also coincided with broader initiatives to support entrepreneurship in India, including the launch of a unified portal for government schemes by NITI Aayog and a memorandum of understanding signed between DPIIT and Shiprocket to enhance India's manufacturing ecosystem.
