Bengaluru-based digital storytelling platform Pratilipi has raised $20 million in a Series E funding round led by Jungle Ventures. The funding is aimed at facilitating the company's expansion into the U.S. market and new formats such as animation and vertical dramas. Following the funding, Pratilipi's valuation has dropped to $100 million, a significant decline from its previous valuation of $265 million in 2021. The funding round includes $12 million in primary investment and $8 million in secondary investment, with Qiming and Shunwei Capital exiting their stakes. Co-founder and CEO Ranjeet Pratap Singh confirmed the details of the funding and valuation changes.
