A police constable in Pune has fallen victim to a QR code scam, losing ₹2.3 lakh while attempting to make a payment at a local bakery. The incident, which occurred in Saswad, involved unauthorized transactions that depleted the constable's savings and targeted his gold loan account. Despite not providing an OTP, the transactions were completed, leading to the freezing of the constable's bank account as an investigation is underway.
