In SAS Nagar, Punjab, police have arrested 21 individuals linked to cybercrime activities. The arrests were made in collaboration with the ETS and Thana Salon police, who recovered mobile phones and laptops from the suspects. During questioning, it was revealed that the group had established a WhatsApp group to facilitate the creation of fake birth certificates and other fraudulent documents. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime in the region. Additionally, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has published a guidance booklet detailing legal provisions and judgments related to the disposal of narcotics, as part of its broader initiative to enhance drug law enforcement through technology-driven measures.
