A special PMLA court in Ranchi has convicted five individuals from Jharkhand's Jamtara district on charges of money laundering related to cyber fraud. The convicted individuals are Pradeep Kumar Mandal, Pintu Mandal, Ganesh Mandal, Ankush Kumar Mandal, and Santosh Mandal. The quantum of their sentences is yet to be announced. Additionally, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a forex broker for allegedly duping customers of over N2 billion.
