At the 48th Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani outlined the company’s future roadmap and highlighted key achievements and financial milestones. RIL became the first Indian company to cross $125 billion (₹10.71 lakh crore) in annual revenue for fiscal year 2025, with earnings before interest reaching ₹1.83 lakh crore. Ambani emphasized the company’s transformation into an integrated energy business, with the oil-to-chemicals (O2C) segment serving as the backbone of this shift. The telecom arm, Reliance Jio, surpassed 500 million subscribers and introduced several new products including JioPC, JioFrames, and smart home solutions. Ambani also noted the global economic outlook, projecting global GDP could reach $500 trillion within 25 to 30 years. Reliance Retail, represented by Director Isha Ambani, expressed confidence in achieving more than 20% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue over the next three years. At the meeting, Nita Ambani, Founder-Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, reflected on the foundation’s milestones in education, women empowerment, and healthcare. Despite these positive developments, Reliance Industries’ stock dropped 2.21% to Rs 1,357.05 following the AGM. Ambani also praised India’s GDP growth under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, highlighting the interdependence of global prosperity amid ongoing uncertainties.
