This move aims to strengthen RIL's position in India's content production industry. Dharma Productions is currently 91% owned by Karan Johar and 9% by his associates. The acquisition is expected to bolster RIL's media and entertainment portfolio, aligning with its broader strategy to expand in diverse sectors.
