The Sensex, India's benchmark stock index, experienced significant fluctuations over several days. It declined by 48.06 points to 74,071.33 in early trade but later dropped by 616.75 points to settle at 73,502.64. Subsequently, it plunged 617 points to close at 72,761.89. However, it rebounded by 335.39 points to settle at 73,097.28. The Nifty, another key index, also showed similar trends, dipping and rising in tandem with the Sensex.
