The Supreme Court of India has announced its intention to appoint a Special Public Prosecutor in the 2015 cash-for-vote scam case involving Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The decision is expected to be formalized in a judicial order by a three-judge Bench headed by Justice B.R. Gavai. The court expressed its complete faith in the judiciary and indicated that the name of the Special Prosecutor would be finalized later today.
