Several Indian companies reported their fourth-quarter (Q4) financial results for the fiscal year 2024-25, highlighting mixed performance across sectors. Suzlon Energy posted a remarkable 365% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 1,182 crore, driven by a deferred tax gain of Rs 600 crore, with revenue rising 73.2% to Rs 3,773.5 crore and EBITDA nearly doubling to Rs 677 crore. This boosted Suzlon's share price by over 13%. Cummins India posted a net profit decline of 1.7% year-on-year to Rs 530 crore, with revenue up 6.9% to Rs 2,428 crore, and the board recommended a final dividend. Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders saw a 50.9% drop in net profit to Rs 325 crore despite a 2.3% revenue increase, with EBITDA down 82.8%, causing its shares to fall 7-8%. Other notable results include NBCC with a 29.4% net profit rise to Rs 176 crore, Ipca Laboratories with a 13.8% profit increase to Rs 67.8 crore, and Sobha reporting a 62.6% revenue increase to Rs 1,240.6 crore alongside a net profit rise to Rs 40.8 crore.
