Indian equities are expected to open on a cautious note on Monday after the Nifty 50 finished just below the 25,500 mark on Friday. Traders will watch whether the benchmark can hold technical support near 25,400 and whether Bank Nifty can maintain 56,800 amid signs that major indices are consolidating after recent gains. Tata Motors will be in the spotlight after subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover reported a 10.7 percent year-on-year drop in first-quarter wholesales to 87,286 vehicles and a 15.1 percent decline in retail deliveries to 94,420 units, reflecting model transitions and the impact of higher U.S. tariffs. Navin Fluorine is seeking to raise up to Rs 750 crore through a qualified institutional placement priced at a floor of Rs 4,798.28 per share. Other stocks drawing attention include JSW Infrastructure, which secured a project from the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority to rebuild and mechanise two berths at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Dock, and Kotak Mahindra Bank, which posted 14 percent loan growth to Rs 4.45 lakh crore for the June quarter with deposits rising at a similar pace to Rs 5.13 lakh crore.
