In New York, the Narcotics Bureau Queens North Major Case Squad, in collaboration with federal partners, arrested three men and confiscated 163 kilograms (360 pounds) of cocaine hidden in a trailer, with a street value exceeding $4.5 million. Meanwhile, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) in Mumbai arrested a female passenger at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after discovering 1,983 grams of a viscous liquid concealed in shampoo and lotion bottles. Additionally, DRI officers intercepted two passengers arriving from Abu Dhabi, seizing 4,525 grams of gold dust worth ₹3.33 crore concealed in a jacket, leading to the arrest of both individuals. On August 15, Mumbai Customs seized 482.66 grams of cocaine valued at approximately ₹4.83 crore, concealed in the body cavity of a Kenyan passenger, who was also arrested.
