Warner Bros. Pictures has entered a five-film agreement with Mumbai-based Bhanushali Studios Limited and JOAT Films to produce Indian adaptations of selected Warner Bros. titles, the companies said on 16 June. The strategic partnership gives the two local producers rights to remake a slate of projects for the Indian market, expanding Warner Bros.’ push to localize its library for high-growth territories. Financial terms and the specific films to be adapted were not disclosed.
