Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Zomato, is investing $20 million in a new aerospace startup named LAT Aerospace, co-founded with former Zomato executive Surobhi Das. Goyal will take on the role of non-executive cofounder at LAT Aerospace, which aims to develop low-cost short takeoff and landing aircraft capable of accommodating up to 24 passengers. Goyal described the venture as a realization of a decade-old idea. The startup is reportedly in the process of hiring for various roles.
