Dutch payment services provider Adyen was targeted by three DDoS cyberattacks on Easter Monday evening, affecting its operations across Europe. The attacks, occurring over a span of five hours at 7pm, 8:35pm, and 11:35pm, led to disruptions in payment processing for shops, bars, restaurants, and online retail. Adyen, which processed transactions worth €1,286 billion last year, confirmed that the issues were resolved by 3:30am on Tuesday. In a separate incident, French parking giant Indigo, known for its urban parking solutions in over 500 cities managing 1.7 million parking spaces, disclosed a significant data breach involving personal information of its clients. The breach did not include banking details or passwords but exposed names, email addresses, license plate numbers, phone numbers, and postal addresses, raising concerns about potential phishing risks. Indigo has taken steps to contain the breach and has notified the relevant authorities.
