The American Radio Relay League (ARRL) has confirmed that it paid a ransom of $1 million to recover systems compromised in a ransomware attack that occurred in May. This payment was made to obtain a decryptor necessary for restoring access to its encrypted systems. Additionally, the Malaysian public transport company Prasarana Malaysia Berhad has reported a cybersecurity breach, with 316 GB of data allegedly exfiltrated by the RansomHub ransomware group. However, Prasarana assured that its daily operations were not disrupted by this incident.
