The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has reported that the federal government remains unaware of the full extent of damage caused by a hack that occurred nearly six months ago, in January. This hack exposed a tool used to track facilities with dangerous chemicals. Despite the breach, which lasted five months before being detected, the scope and consequences of the intrusion are still being assessed.
