Cisco has disclosed a data breach involving its customer relationship management (CRM) system, which was compromised through a voice phishing (vishing) attack. Attackers exploited this method to access and download user data from a third-party CRM platform, impacting Cisco customer accounts. Separately, cybersecurity researchers from Cisco Talos identified a vulnerability in the Broadcom BCM5820X chip embedded in Dell's ControlVault security firmware. This flaw affects over 100 Dell laptop models, potentially exposing millions of devices to cyberattacks. Dell has since released patches to address the security issue. Additionally, Pandora confirmed a separate third-party data breach and issued warnings regarding phishing attempts targeting its users.
