The attack compromised 1,590 wallets and was detected on June 22 when abnormal activity was observed in the non-custodial wallet system. CoinStats suspects that the notorious Lazarus Group, a nation-state hacking group, is behind the attack. The attacker, described as sophisticated, managed to execute unauthorized intrusions and theft, leading to significant financial losses for CoinStats users.
