Recent data breaches have exposed millions of customer records across various companies. MC2 Data reported a breach affecting 2,122,280 accounts, with the exposed information including email addresses, names, and salted SHA-25 passwords. Notably, 60% of the compromised records were already listed in the Have I Been Pwned database. In a separate incident, Hopamedia experienced a breach that compromised 23,835,870 unique email addresses, along with names, countries, phone numbers, and the associated telecommunications carriers. Approximately 66% of these records were also found in Have I Been Pwned. Additionally, ConnectOnCall faced a breach that affected the health data of over 910,000 patients, raising concerns about the security of medical information.
