A new Android malware known as DroidBot is targeting 77 banks and cryptocurrency exchanges across Europe, operating under a malware-as-a-service model priced at $3,000 per month. This sophisticated Trojan is designed to steal sensitive information, including banking credentials and cryptocurrency wallet data. In France, nine major banks, including CIC, Société Générale, and Banque Postale, have been specifically identified as targets. The malware allows cybercriminals to remotely control banking applications, raising significant cybersecurity concerns. Additionally, there are reports of hackers using fake video conferencing applications to lure Web3 professionals, delivering another information-stealing tool called 'Realst' that captures sensitive data such as cryptocurrency wallet information and Telegram credentials.
