The Ethereum Foundation has reported that its mailing list provider, SendPulse, has been compromised, leading to a phishing campaign targeting its subscribers. Tim Beiko, a blockchain developer, announced that the compromised email, updates@ethereum.org, has been used to send phishing emails. The foundation is working to resolve the issue and has advised users not to click any links from the compromised email. The foundation has also locked access to the mailing list. In a related incident on June 23, a MakerDAO governance delegate lost $11 million worth of Aave Ethereum Maker (aEthMKR) and Pendle USDe tokens due to a phishing scam. The delegate fell victim after signing multiple fraudulent signatures, as detected by Scam Sniffer.
