Interpol has successfully dismantled a significant cybercriminal network through Operation HAECHI-V, resulting in the arrest of over 5,500 suspects. This unprecedented global operation also led to the recovery of more than $400 million in stolen funds. In a related effort, police in France, Spain, and Lithuania conducted raids that resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of €130,000 in cash, €500,000 in cryptocurrencies, and four luxury vehicles. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime, following previous successes against encrypted communication services used by criminals.
