A coordinated hacking spree has compromised several major accounts on X, including those of Lenovo India, Yahoo News UK, Decentraland, and MzalendoWatch. The hackers are promoting a scam token called $HACKED on Solana, with posts encouraging users to buy the token. Despite the broad access to major accounts, the hackers only managed to steal $8,000. Users are warned to avoid interacting with these compromised accounts and not to click on any links provided. The incidents were revealed on September 18 by blockchain sleuth ZachXBT. PeckShieldAlert also confirmed the Decentraland compromise.
