NodeStealer Malware Targets Facebook Ads Manager, Python-Based and Avoids Vietnam, Harvests Credit Card Data

A new variant of the NodeStealer malware is targeting Facebook Ads Manager, specifically aiming at business accounts to harvest credit card data from browsers. This python-based malware has been reported to avoid infecting systems in Vietnam, which is suspected to be its origin. Cybercriminals are also launching phishing campaigns aimed at Facebook business accounts to steal passwords and phone numbers. The increasing sophistication of these attacks raises concerns about the security of online advertising platforms.
