Over 4,000 Adobe Commerce and Magento Stores Hit by CosmicSting Vulnerability

A critical vulnerability, identified as CosmicSting (CVE-2024-34102), has impacted 5% of Adobe Commerce and Magento stores. The flaw is being exploited by seven hacker groups who are injecting malicious scripts into these e-commerce platforms. Over 4,000 Adobe Commerce e-stores have already been hacked as a result of this vulnerability. Security experts recommend not only patching the systems but also rotating encryption keys to mitigate the risk. This incident, which came to light on October 2, highlights the severity of the cybersecurity threat.
