A series of ransomware attacks have targeted multiple organizations across various countries. In Germany, Lambertz was attacked by the BlackBasta ransomware group, resulting in the exfiltration of 800 GB of data, including employee personnel data, financial accounting, and Human Resources information. In Indonesia, PT. Pelat Timah Nusantara (Latinusa) fell victim to the LockBit 3.0 ransomware group, which stole internal and external audit documents, claims, budgets, and financial information. The University Hospital Centre Zagreb in Croatia was also attacked by the LockBit 3.0 group, with hackers exfiltrating medical records, patient exams, doctors' research papers, and surgery details. In France, Ethypharm was targeted by the Underground Team ransomware group, which exfiltrated 875.4 GB of confidential documents, recruitment information, partners information, and sales data. The Romanian branch of NTT DATA was attacked by the RansomHub group, resulting in the theft of 230 GB of data and a ransom deadline set for July 5, 2024. NTT DATA Corporation has a revenue of 3.49 trillion JPY. Additionally, Brazil's Salton winery was attacked by the Akira ransomware group, which stole 30 GB of HR files and financial data. Lastly, the Spanish branch of Viasat was attacked by the Medusa ransomware group, which demanded $150,000 and exfiltrated 98.9 GB of data, including passports and notarial acts.
