A recent data breach has raised significant concerns over the security of personal information stored in easily hacked Redbox kiosks. A programmer revealed that she was able to access consumers' names, emails, and some credit card details dating back to 2015. She stated that anyone with basic hacking skills could extract data using a hex editor, without needing physical access to the kiosks. The data was retrieved from a hard drive found on Discord.
