A wave of impersonation scams has been reported across various social media platforms, with multiple individuals and organizations warning the public. The Toronto Police issued a public advisory regarding an email scam, while several users, including Chris Coffee and Felix Schlang, reported impersonators on Twitter. CoinMarketCap and GenLayer also alerted their followers about scammers pretending to be their team members. Additionally, a fraudulent account, @jiyingisreal, is impersonating Allen Su's venture partner, Jean Zheng, attempting to lure users into Telegram DMs. Another scam is using the likeness of SwipeWright and Andrew Gold, with the fraudulent company Mefion. GenLayer emphasized that there is currently no token associated with their platform. Users are urged to report any suspicious accounts and verify communications through official channels.
