
Recent reports have highlighted a series of ransomware attacks targeting various entities across the globe. The Peddie School in the USA has been compromised by the Cl0p ransomware group, resulting in the leak of 1.2 TB of data. Similarly, the Centre Hospitalier d'Armentières was attacked by the newly emerged Blackout ransomware group, affecting over 100 servers and workstations. Epic Games also fell victim to the Mogilevich ransomware group, which claims to have exfiltrated 189 GB of data including sensitive information. In Saudi Arabia, the 8Base group published an attack on a company, and in the UK, Moore & Tibbits was compromised by the ThreeAM group. Additionally, Sund Birsta in Sweden and Vertdure in Canada were targeted by the LockBit 3.0 group, and Array Networks in the USA by the Dunghill Leak group, with the compromised data allegedly amounting to 2.5 TB. The Benthanh Group in Vietnam faced a ransomware attack by the RansomHub group, compromising 1 TB of data. In Australia, the BlackBasta group claimed to have breached the data of multiple companies. Epic Games, however, has stated there is currently 'zero evidence' to support the claims of a breach.
