A new report by Startup Nation Central reveals that Israeli startups experienced a significant boost in private funding during the first half of 2024, driven largely by the cybersecurity sector. Private funding surged by 31% compared to the second half of 2023, reaching $5.1 billion across 322 rounds. When accounting for undisclosed amounts and unreported rounds, the total funding is estimated to be approximately $6.7 billion. Additionally, the IDF has rebuffed 3 billion cyberattacks since October 7.
