
Nvidia has announced the acquisition of Run:ai, an Israeli startup specializing in AI workload management and orchestration software, for approximately $700 million. Run:ai, known for its Kubernetes-based software that optimizes AI application performance, has been collaborating with Nvidia since 2020. Omri Geller, Run:ai's cofounder and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about joining Nvidia. The acquisition will incorporate Run:ai's products into Nvidia's DGX Cloud offerings, maintaining the same business model while planning further investments in the product's development roadmap. Run:ai was founded in 2018 and had previously raised a total of $118 million.
