Dior has reached a settlement with the Italian competition authority following an investigation into labor practices linked to its suppliers. The probe examined allegations of labor exploitation and inadequate wages paid to workers involved in the production of goods for Dior and Armani. While Dior was found responsible but not guilty of these labor violations, the company agreed to pay 2 million euros over five years to support initiatives aimed at assisting victims of labor exploitation. Dior has also emphasized that it emerged from the investigation without being found guilty of forced labor and has pledged to strengthen its commitments to ethical labor standards.
