Asia’s largest Web3 gathering, WebX 2025, has added Binance Japan and social platform UXLINK to its roster of platinum sponsors, the conference organisers said. The two-day event, planned by crypto media outlet CoinPost and the WebX Executive Committee, will take place on 25–26 August at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo. Organisers expect more than 20,000 attendees, 3,000 companies and about 150 exhibitors to convene for discussions spanning digital-asset regulation, tokenisation and decentralised finance. WebX 2025 precedes an invitation-only sister event, the WebX Fintech EXPO in Osaka on 22 August. Co-hosted with SBI Group, the Fintech EXPO will limit attendance to 1,000 industry participants and focus on practical blockchain applications in financial services while providing matchmaking sessions for domestic and overseas firms. Ticket prices for the main Tokyo conference currently start at US$69 for basic booth access, rising to US$4,999 for VIP packages that include entry to the Fintech EXPO. The organiser says more than 150 side events are planned across Tokyo during the same week, underscoring Japan’s bid to position itself as a regional hub for Web3 technology.
