Additionally, a cyber-criminal claimed to have stolen 20GB of data from Capgemini and is now leaking it. In Japan, Kantsu Co., Ltd. detected a ransomware attack on September 12, 2024, after noticing a system issue around 6:00 PM. The company has since isolated its network to contain the breach. RansomHub has also claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on Kawasaki, threatening to leak stolen data. The data breaches have spanned over a period of 10 months.
