Japanese public company Metaplanet has made a significant move by purchasing an additional ¥200 million worth of Bitcoin, equivalent to approximately $1.2 million. This acquisition adds around 20.195 BTC to its holdings, bringing the total to approximately 161.26 BTC, which represents about 9% of its market cap. This purchase is part of Metaplanet's broader strategy to acquire $6 million in Bitcoin to boost its treasury. The company’s total Bitcoin holdings now exceed $10 million. This move comes one week after announcing a $6 million Bitcoin acquisition plan.
